Job Description

Head of Finance Operations is a new role and will play a crucial part in building a client-oriented function to assure that Akind group has the best finance support to achieves its goals. You will be part of the Akind Finance Management team and will lead a team of managers.

The Finance Operations function is responsible for accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll for Akind in five of six countries (Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, and Germany, not Switzerland) and the portfolio of brands, all united under the Akind umbrella (Academic Work, AW Executive Search, Brights and Crowd Collective).

A central task will be to work together with the Finance Operations Management Team to improve and streamline current processes. This includes prioritizing, planning and driving improvement initiatives with a focus on standardization, automation and digitalization.

A key factor for success is to build trust and good communication between the Finance Operations Management team and our clients.

You will have responsibility for:

• Overall responsibility for the operational processes within Akind Finance.

• Delivery of Akind Finance Services to our customers in accordance with the Akind Finance Service Catalogue and SLA.

• Continuous improvements and development of Akind Finance Services.

• Prioritize, plan and drive improvement initiatives within Akind Finance.

• Follow up and evaluate KPIs regarding process efficiency, customer and employee satisfaction.

• Responsible for the interfaces with other functions and ensure optimized End-to-End processes.

• Forecast and follow up of Akind Finance Operations´ cost.

Other requirements for this role are:

• +5 years of working experience from similar role, preferably from the service industry or similar.

• Experience from manager position(s), including experience from managing managers.

• You have a solid understanding of Finance Operations processes.

• Academic degree in economics or equivalent.

• Fluency in Swedish and English, written and spoken alike.

• Knowledge of other group company languages is considered meriting.
