Our client is an established company within automotive who operates in a highly innovative environment, where you will get the opportunity to not only be part of the journey but be part of building the future of the company. As a Program Manager, you will manage development programs, platform programs, change management or other projects in a common and standardized process. You will be responsible for running the programs and ensuring that the goals for quality, time, cost, and scope are fulfilled. You will plan and schedule program timelines, milestones and deliverables using MS Project and other program management tools, continuously communicating the status of the program to internal and external stakeholders. Your role will also be to coach, motivate and follow up with program team members, as well as pro-actively manage changes in the programs and identify potential risks along the way. Your core team will be a cross functional group of around six members, and you will report to PMO Manager.

You will for example:

• Estimate the resources needed to achieve program goals
• Track, follow up and deliver on program milestones and deliverables
• Track and follow up on business case metrics according to program targets and commitments
• Create, maintain and follow up on budget and forecasts for the program
• Contribute to continuous improvement of developing processes and tools

Who you are

To succeed in this role, you need to thrive in a fast-paced and innovative environment and adjust well to changes in an organization. Additionally, you are used to managing tight deadlines, delivering results even in pressured situations and to present program status to internal as well as external customers. You need to have a solid understanding of PM discipline and processes and a strong focus on results.

We believe you are a business-oriented people manager, with the ability to coach and lead in cross-functional environments with the confidence to step up in difficult situations and make decisions when necessary.

Other requirements for this role are:

• Minimum of 5 years work experience, know-how and skills from working in a similar role in the automotive industry
• Strong skills in MS Project, MS Office, and data management
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in project management or engineering
• Understanding of engineering development process
• Demonstrated strong project team leadership skills
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

About the Company

Place of employment: Stockholm or Gothenburg. Depending on your location, the position requires travels to either Stockholm or Gothenburg approximately twice a month.

• Estimated travel days per year: 60 (Sweden and Europe)
• Extent: Full time
